PUBLIC GARDENS - Calhoun School Greenroof

The only way to expand the existing school building was to add additional floors. This opened up the opportunity to include a rooftop garden in the design. The roof was heavily used as staging area for other trades before and even during the installation of the roof garden. (NEXT)

After the roof was electronically tested for any leaks a drainage mat is installed, covering the entire garden area. The drainage mat ensures that water is properly channeled to the roof drains.
