Landscape Crew Leader / Foreperson

Description of Position: The individual will be a member of a small crew, to maintain Urban Gardens in Manhattan. Individual will provide, supervision, organization, training and horticultural knowledge, to co-workers performing maintenance on Commercial Accounts. Position can include Installations of New Gardens and / or Seasonal Annual Plantings, as per needs of the company.

Skills/Experience Required: A good understanding of Urban Landscape Maintenance, including pest and disease identification and treatment. Plant knowledge (Trees, Shrubs, Perennials and Annuals) and identification is integral to the position. Must be dedicated and reliable with a strong interest in growing their experience within a team. Good writing, record keeping and communication a must. A clean, driver license, a plus.

Type of Position: Full time

Landscape Crew Members

Description of Position: Maintenance and planting of Urban Gardens, within a small crew, in Manhattan.

Skills/Experience Required: Individual needs a good understanding of gardening practices. Must be able to communicate well with staff, superiors and customers. Candidate must possess Dedication, Responsibility and Maturity. A clean, driver license, a plus.
