All of the garden beds except one had to be totally emptied by hand to allow for waterproofing, drainage system and new soils and amendments. (NEXT)
The main plaza bed alone required the excavation of 60 cu yards half of which then needed to be carted away to allow for fresh soil improvements.
Except for a few select locust trees, which were pruned and saved, all other existing plant material was removed. Ten new matching 18’ locust trees were craned up and installed.
