As many of the materials as possible had to be coordinated for lifting up to the two rooftops. In two mornings over 93 tons of materials were craned up over two of Manhattan ’s busiest streets. (NEXT)

Planning was the key to success in this project. Mockups were done to help determine the vast quantities of loose materials, methods of attachments etc. Even tree “roots” had to be invented. With so much weight being craned up on to the roof distribution of the materials was a key priority. Our crews worked tirelessly to keep up with this task.
